Michał Pawłowski
PSF 2021 - Spring
Michał is currently finishing his MA diploma in Econometrics at the University of Warsaw. He also holds an MA in Philosophy. His past academic and vocational experiences include studies at the University of Konstanz, Germany, as well as internships at institutions such as the European Commission Representation in Warsaw and the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. For two years, Michał held the chair of the Student Union of his College at the University of Warsaw, running several projects in the meantime. Due to his academic activities in the fields of economics and philosophy, he has been awarded numerous scholarships, including the scholarship of the Polish Ministry of Science for remarkable students (twice). In the near future, Polskie Wydawnictwo Naukowe SA, a leading Polish academic publisher, will publish his book on Kant, Wittgenstein, and limits of cognition, resulting from his nomination to the final of the Barbara Skarga Philosophical Essay Competition.
As a Rowny-Paderewski Scholar, Michał participated in the TFAS Spring 2021 Program in Leadership & American Presidency, interning at the Hertog Foundation. The most valuable part of his Washington experience was the opportunity for him to learn directly from US congress members and experienced political journalists.
