Kamil Pruchnik
PSF 2012
Kamil is a highly determined and cooperative student with a solid academic background (second best student at Warsaw School of Economics out of 1,300 students), international experience (participated in various international programs in Brazil, England, Iceland, Russia, Slovenia and USA) and has 3 years diversified professional experience at various companies (such as Accenture, American Bankers Association, Bloomberg, and other). He won several business & research competitions, and was awarded with the prestigious Polish Diamond Grant ($70,000 USD). He currently works as a Consultant at the Office of the Chief Economist for Europe and Central Asia Region and is an Econ PhD. student at the Warsaw School of Economics. He was tutored by professor Leszek Balcerowicz, former president of the National Bank of Poland and Finance Minister and Deputy Prime Minister. He loves to travel to different places and meet new people. He is a Big Star Wars and comic book fan. In his free time Kamil swims (competitive swimmer, aims to swim through The English Channel – summer 2014 or 2015).
