Oskar Raczycki

Oskar is an aspiring global policy leader. Oskar graduated in International Relations, and defended a thesis on cybersecurity in U.S.-China relations. In 2013, his B.A. thesis exploring the topic of climate-induced migration won first place in the competition of the Polish Geopolitical Association. He also studies International Law and Economics within the individual interdisciplinary studies at the University of Warsaw and completed a one-year introductory program to American law conducted by the University of Florida Levin College of Law at his alma mater. Oskar gained experience as a legal assistant in SKS Legal (the first ranked law firm in Poland), member of AIESEC local committee as the co-organizer of the biggest job fair in the country and held the position of research assistant at the Political Department of Royal Danish Embassy in Warsaw. As a Paderewski Scholar, Oskar interned at the Institute of International Finance in Washington, D.C., contributing to the report about the activities of IIF members in the area of financial inclusion. Oskar is a laureate of Diamond Grant, the national program supporting student researchers at the beginning of their academic career. The project (2015-2018) explores new forms of international forced migration and their implications for international security and law and received funding of approx. 50,000 USD. In the foreseeable future Oskar wants to pursue the MPP program in the United States. His academic and vocational interests revolve around international law and security, global governance, human rights, foreign and public policy.
